The Beavers threatened late, putting two on with one out in the ninth, and although a run scored on a wild pitch, reliever Jacob Rebar got a strikeout and fly out to end the game.Key for the Utes was a season-high four double plays on the night. On the mound, Trenton Stoltz earned the victory after pitching four innings of relief, surrendering just two runs (one earned) on four hits. It was his first victory of the year. Four innings pitched is over twice as long as his previous longest outing this year. Gulden hit a one-out triple to right field and Foscalina was hit in the head by a pitch on a scary play that saw him leave the game.
