But much of our funding comes through donations from alumni of Kappa Alpha Psi.”Pollard said the fraternity’s alumni chapter is also involved with the Pike Regional Child Advocacy Center. Motes said the cookout will be an event of Older Americans Month, which is celebrated each May.Andre Pollard, Alumni Chapter president, said the members are also looking forward to the outing.“Community service is the focus of what we do,” Pollard said. “We want to be very involved in the Troy University community. We visited the complex and were very impressed and decided we wanted to do something at the center for all senior adults.” The Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Troy University Alumni Chapter will host an outing for the senior adults in Pike County from 5 until 7 p.m. Thursday at the Colley Senior Complex at 715 Elm St. in Troy.
