The six, cutting-edge HD ROVOCAMS will provide crystal-clear footage of the Bulldogs’ on-court successes during all indoor matches in real time via YouTube Live. “Live streaming matches has been a long-time dream of the program, and I thank our very passionate supporters for making that dream a reality,” said Drake men’s tennis head coach Davidson Kozlowski. “A special ‘thank you’ to Kirk Schuler, Aaron Forsberg and Paul Curtis for the critical role they played in bringing live streaming to Drake tennis. The men’s team was the unanimous preseason favorite to repeat as Summit League champions with a veteran roster that features five seniors. The system makes its debut this weekend when the men’s team hosts four matches at the Roger Knapp Tennis Center beginning with an 11 a.m. match Saturday morning against Northern Illinois followed by a 6 p.m. contest against Tennessee Tech. Action resumes Sunday at 10 a.m. against Purdue and 6 p.m. in a Summit League match against Illinois State. “This will have a large impact with future recruiting,” said Drake women’s tennis head coach Mai-Ly Tran. “Our alumni, parents and fans will be able to watch matches from anywhere – which is particularly exciting for our international and out-of-state student-athletes.  This technology will equip us with superior tools for match and player analysis, and I do not doubt that we will see an immediate positive impact on the program.”last_img read more

first_imgCelebrity Cruises has announced that it is sending four its Solstice Class ships as well as two of its newly refurbished ships to the Caribbean during 2012 to 2012 Aussie summer season.From November 2012 to November 2013, the six ships will sail around the Caribbean following up to 21 various itineraries and taking off from three different homeports including Fort Lauderdale and San Juan, Puerto Rico.With fares available for purchase from 21 April this year, the Celebrity Reflection has been selected to sail roundtrip from Miami, Florida on altering seven night itineraries between a seven night Eastern Caribbean while the Celebrity Eclipse will cover the South on 14 night voyages as well as one special eight night Eastern Caribbean trip at the start of the season. For Ultimate Caribbean cruises the Celebrity Summit will offer 10 to 11 night trips and for a shorter tour Celebrity Constellation will present four to five night cruises around Miami. The Celebrity Summit is set to take passengers on seven night Southern Caribbean cruises while the Celebrity Silhouette will offer alternative seven night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries. Passengers on board the Silhouette will also be treated to a change in port of call from Roatan, Honduras and Costa Maya, Mexico with calls to Labadee, Haiti and Falmouth, Jamaica.Meanwhile, four Celebrity ships are set to pull into Hawaii, Panama Canal and South America over the same period, with up to 29 itineraries prepared ranging from 11 to 17 nights.Celebrity Century, Celebrity Millennium, Celebrity Solstice and Celebrity Infinity will sail across the region and will stop at up to 42 ports of call combined.
